Nexadata Data Connections

Overview of supported Nexadata data sources, including Amazon S3 and Nexadata File Manager, with future plans for additional integrations.

Nexadata will offer native connectivity to various systems commonly used with various business applications. With the release of Nexadata's beta, the following two data sources will be offered with a roadmap for additional connections.

Currently Supported Data Connections

1. Nexadata File Manager

Nexadata File Manager is a native data management solution that provides seamless integration with your Nexadata ecosystem. It allows users to securely manage, store, and access their data within the Nexadata platform, offering high performance and scalability. Here are the key features:

  • Optimized for performance and data accessibility

  • Scalable and secure storage solution that enables a new Nexadata user to get started right away.

2. Amazon S3

Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service) is a scalable, cloud-based storage service from AWS. Nexadata supports direct integration with Amazon S3, allowing users to import and export data to and from S3 buckets effortlessly. Here are the key features:

  • Supports large datasets and high-throughput performance

3. Pigment

Pigment is a modern planning and forecasting platform built for finance, sales, and operations teams. Nexadata offers direct integration with Pigment, enabling users to seamlessly import, export, and manage data as part of their analytics workflows.

Key features include:

  • Secure, key-based authentication for import, export, metadata, and audit operations, with support for configuring and testing multiple access keys

  • Use Pigment data in Nexadata pipelines to transform, enrich, and map it to new targets

  • Configure pipeline outputs to write directly into Pigment Blocks for continuous, automated updates

4. SFTP

SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) is a widely used protocol for secure file transfer over SSH. Nexadata supports direct integration with SFTP servers, enabling users to import and export data seamlessly. Here are the key features:

  • Directory traversal to navigate and manage folder structures

  • Optional PGP encryption for enhanced data security
