Creating a Dataset with Nexadata Connector Copilot

Learn how Nexadata Connector Copilot lets you connect to any external system and build a Nexadata dataset in minutes, without writing code.

Updated this week

Nexadata Connector Copilot lets you connect to any external system with an OpenAPI specification and extract data into a Nexadata dataset, all without writing code. The process covers three main phases: loading your API spec, authenticating with your data source, and defining the dataset you want to build.

How It Works

To get started, navigate to the Datasets page and click AI Copilot in the top right corner. From there, you will load your OpenAPI specification, choose an authentication method (OAuth, API Key, Basic Auth, or Private Apps), and describe the data you want to extract in plain language. Nexadata Connector Copilot analyzes your input, suggests the right API endpoint, and maps the available fields to dataset columns for you to review and confirm.

For a complete walkthrough of each step, see the full guide: Nexadata Connector Copilot.
