🔍 What You're Doing

In this step, you will create a Nexadata Workflow, attach the Exchange Rate API dataset you built in Step 1, and run it through a Pipeline with an AI-powered transformation. Pipelines define the shape of your output data. The Transform Copilot lets you describe what you want to do in plain language and applies the transformation automatically, no SQL or code required.

✅ Summary of Steps

  1. Click New Workflow from the home screen.

  2. Click Create Workflow from the Workflows page.

  3. Enter a name for your Workflow and click Create.

  4. Click Add Dataset to connect your FX data.

  5. Select Open Exchange Rate API - Copilot from the dataset list.

  6. Review the dataset preview and click Add to Workflow.

  7. Click Go to Pipelines to begin building your Pipeline.

  8. Click Add to create a new Output Pipeline.

  9. Enter a Pipeline name and select your FX dataset.

  10. Click Start Transforming to open the Transform builder.

  11. Select AI-powered Transformation to describe your transformation in natural language.

  12. Enter your transformation prompt and click Submit Transformation:
    Sort column key by ascending

13. Review the transformed output with currencies sorted by key.

Well done 🎉! You have connected a live API, built a dataset using Connector Copilot, and applied an AI-powered transformation inside a Nexadata Pipeline.
