Connecting Your Anthropic Claude API Key
If your team prefers to use its own Claude API key from Anthropic, you can configure it directly in your Nexadata tenant settings. Once saved, all Claude-powered features (including Copilot and natural language transformations) will use your provided key across your entire tenant.
When you bring your own Claude API key, Nexadata will also leverage any fine-tuned models associated with that key. This means Copilot and other AI features can take advantage of customizations and training your organization has applied to Claude using your own data and workflows.
How to Add Your Anthropic Claude API Key
Go to Settings → Nexadata Settings
Select LLM API Key from the sidebar
In the API Key field, paste your Anthropic Claude API key
Click Save to apply the changes
Once saved, your Claude key will be used for:
Nexadata Copilot
Prompt-based transformations
Natural language step creation
These features will operate through your configured Claude key for all users within the tenant.
Who Can Configure the Claude API Key?
Only users with the appropriate Admin or Settings permissions can add or update the Anthropic Claude API key.

The key applies tenant-wide to all AI interactions
Nexadata currently supports Anthropic Claude for BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)
The key is stored securely and is hidden after saving
If your Claude key is tied to a fine-tuned model, Nexadata will use that model when powering Copilot and transformation logic
You can update or remove the key at any time by returning to this screen
