Using Anaplan as a Data Source for Audit and Administrative Reporting

An overview of the Anaplan data source types available in Nexadata for extracting audit, user, and model data for reporting and analytics.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Nexadata supports an expanded set of Anaplan data sources for dataset generation, purpose-built for extracting audit and administrative data that is otherwise difficult to access and format for reporting.

Raw audit data from Anaplan is returned with IDs rather than human-readable names. Using Nexadata's data platform, you can join, transform, and materialize the data into a clean, analytics-ready view without any custom scripting.

Available Anaplan Data Source Types

  • Events — Audit event data with a configurable time interval and automatic pagination

  • Users — User records for access visibility and activity reporting

  • Workspaces — Workspace metadata with full tenant detail

  • CloudWorks Jobs — Integration job data for monitoring and audit purposes

  • Models — Available models within a selected workspace

  • Imports, Exports, Actions, Processes, and Files — Model-level administrative data

For full configuration instructions, UI behavior details, and a sample prompt for building an audit analytics pipeline, see Accessing Extended Data Sources in Anaplan.
